2.5-day training on ‘The Best Practices for Serving Survivors of Homicide Victims with Dignity and Compassion’ hosted and facilitated by Victims United Inc and partners the Louis D Brown Peace Institute, Boston Mass.
This is the first ever convening seminar for service and care providers of homicide victims brought to you by the Issachar K Tigre Chinnery Foundation-Victims United Inc Partners for Peace and is the vision of Bernadette Gonsalves, president and executive director of the foundation.
This training was also cosponsored by the Office of the Governor Law Enforcement Planning Commission, the National Association of Social Workers, UVICELL

Partners for Peace and our partners, Dr. Clementina M. Chery, Danielle C. Bennett and the rest of their team at the Louis D Brown Peace Institute. This training was co-sponsored by the Law Enforcement Planning Commission, the NASW and the UVICELL. The goal of this training is to enhance the intervention and outreach.
This training is for individuals and agencies providing care and service to survivors of homicide victims. and other victims of crime. The seminars are opportunities for health care providers, first responders, hospitals, community agencies, advocates, clergy, religious leaders, mental health and law enforcement professionals, and those who serve survivors somewhat to learn how to better address the needs of families who have been impacted by such violence.
