Victims United Inc Partners for Peace
The Issachar K Tigre Foundation-Victims United Inc. Partners for Peace is an organization working in partnership with the Louis D. Brown Peace Institute our mission, goal and objective is:
To develop programs, activities and initiatives that teach, instill the values of peace and enrich the lives of our young people.
To assist and empower survivors of homicide victims and other victims of crime with tools that can rebuild their lives and also be instrumental in rebuilding their communities through education, outreach and through collaboration and Policy Advocacy.
To inform and educate the community and the public about the causes and the consequences of violence on the individual, the family and the community while they work collectively to transform their community into an environment where young people are valued by adults and their peers for their peacemaking efforts and their will to be a part of the change, improvement of their community.
Survivors of homicide Victims and other crime victims are our family, friends, neighbors, and community members. While we can never truly understand the depth of their trauma and the impact on their lives, we can ensure that equitable, inclusive, culturally appropriate, and gender responsive services are available to help them. By enforcing victims’ rights, expanding access to services, and upholding principles of equity and inclusivity for all, we can enable crime victims to find the justice they seek, in whatever form that might take.
With the standard of Peace and a commitment to work with families no matter where they are on their journey.
